Some tips for building an effective CV
- Never send a generic CV.
- Your CV needs to be relevant to the position you are applying for and in some cases you may have to make multiple CVs. Agencies and employers will want to see instantly how you fit the bill for the job advertised.
- Format is an important factor. Ensure the visual layout is “easy on the eye” but can also be quickly digested by the reader, so ensure all your key skills listed clearly.
- An “Arial 10” font is simplest and don’t cram in too much or elaborate by using visuals or colors.
