Our client are a digital first creative agency and are searching for a Full Stack Developer to either work in London City at their offices or remotely

Role requirements

The Full-stack Developer is a key part of the agile development team. The role is responsible for developing a range of technical solutions across our digital products, primarily using PHP (Laravel), JS (Angular), MySQL and LESS.

Their main product (bylder.io) is an innovative B2B online presentation product that empowers non-technical users to create cutting edge, content-rich presentations from their browser without the help of designers or agencies. We are looking for a Full-stack Developer who can join a fantastic team and help us design and build creative solutions to further extend and optimise the platform.

Smaller applications such as data-visualisation portals, public facing websites or mobile/tablet specific applications etc. may also occur from time-to-time.

  • Implementation of new, function-heavy features.
  • Supporting live server infrastructure (Servers, DNS, Integrations).
  • Maintaining Jenkins and release branches.
  • Unit test writing and code reviewing.
  • Reviewing other developers’ code
  • Writing automated tests
  • Working with front-end developers and visual designers to implement pixel-perfect designs.
  • Be part of our agile working practices to ensure scalability and deliver high quality code (Sprint planning, Standups, Demonstrations, Retrospectives, Code Reviews, TDD)

Skills required

  • 3-4+ years experience as a Full-stack Developer
  • PHP, MySQL, Laravel, Javascript, Angular, HTML 5, LESS, Linux (we use Ubuntu), Nginx
  • Modularisation and test driven development
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, initiative and interpersonal skills
  • Experience and knowledge of the entire development life cycle, including requirement scoping, design, QA and post-live.
  • Ability to understand core business needs and translate these into working, scalable solutions that use cutting edge technology.
  • Experience with BDD is advantageous
  • Good communication skills in English
